Ms. Zdeňka Voštová (born Plavcová)

graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague and studied at Copenhagen University as well.

For ten years she had been a team member of the ABB multinational company department of law in the Czech Republic. Her scope of powers featured all sections of legal agenda of an international company having several production plants and more than 3,000 employees. She took part in the preparations of the most important technological units in power engineering and engineering industries, in multinational company corporate procedures, preparation and solution of regular business contracts as well as labour law agenda. Compliance role was also a significant part of her work.  From 2010 to 2012 she stayed in Qatar, where she was in charge of establishing the ABB legal department. She became a member of the team of lawyers for the Middle East and Africa, acquiring experience in contract negotiation in multicultural setting.

During her stay in Qatar she also acted as mentor for the American Counselling Association in a the programme dedicated to students of law. Further activities of hers included active participation in the “Transparency” project by the Nordic Chamber of Commerce, aimed at the implementation of ethical principles and rules in small and medium businesses.

Zdeňka excels in the areas of corporate law, international projects, labour law, and compliance. She is also interested in trade disputes mediation, psychology, and the all-round development of personality.

Zdeňka is fluent in English.
