Situation:
The client discovered a long-term breach of the contract concerning waste purchasing (application of prices different from the agreed purchase prices and other violations of the contract).
Client’s Request:
The client sought judicial protection of their rights, termination of the contract, and securing a fair settlement with the business partner (i.e., invoicing for the purchased waste prices for the past three years). The client requested comprehensive legal support and representation before civil courts, as well as assistance in negotiations with the business partner.
Our Solution:
The claims were gradually enforced by lawsuits for each month, which increased the costs of proceedings and interest on arrears; simultaneously, the client’s claims were settled through successive set-offs. This subsequently led to intensive negotiations for a settlement and resolution of all disputed aspects of the contractual relationship in favor of our client.
Result:
We achieved a settlement of the relations for the past three years and financial compensation amounting to millions of CZK for the client. The legal costs incurred during the dispute were covered by the counterparty.
